The three criteria
- 1. Coffee Quality of the beans, roasting, extraction, flavour profile and consistency. The heart of every score.
- 2. Location Space, atmosphere, design, comfort and how well the place invites you to stay.
- 3. Vibe The special something: personality, creativity, service, community feeling or that unique moment.
Seal of Excellence
Spots with an average score of 8.3 or higher receive the Seal of Excellence.
Each criterion is scored from 1.0 to 10.0. The overall score is the unweighted average of Coffee, Location and Vibe. Spots are ranked by this average. Badges and up to three personal flags highlight special qualities.
